La casa dove viviamo e accogliamo gli ospiti è un antico casale del ‘600, divenuto casa di posta nel ‘700.
Verso la fine del XIX secolo il bisnonno Filippo Montanari lo acquistò dal Signor Ciotti, conservandone la denominazione Casa Ciotti.
Nelle sue stanze avrebbe addirittura soggiornato Mozart, quando nel 1770, durante il suo viaggio in Italia, si trovò a passare per Civita Castellana. In una delle sue sale è stata firmata da Raffaele Cadorna, padre del più noto generale, la capitolazione delle truppe pontificie di Civita durante l’avanzata dell’esercito italiano per la presa di Roma capitale (1870).
Le stanze dell’agriturismo sono gli antichi alloggi della foresteria, arredati con mobili originali delle case di famiglia appartenenti a varie epoche, per offrire uno stile semplice ed autentico, privo di ricostruzioni. Lo spirito rurale della casa vive nelle sue pietre ed amiamo conservarlo, lasciando che la sua storia s’intrecci con la nostra, senza sottolineature d’élite, esprimendo nei suoi spazi l’accoglienza naturalmente elegante di un luogo così ricco di vissuti.

The house where we live and where we welcome guests is an ancient house of 600, was home in the 700 e-mail.
